Dome poles and fly cover, height is almost 6 incenter of tent. The all-season observing tent is designed for most conditions - mild to harsh - astronomers are sure to encounter. The fabric 210D Nylon Oxford, PU3000 is a strong, flexible canvas with a urethane coating.

T he coating is applied for improved water repellent and durability. 210 Denier Oxford cloth is versatile, lightweight, durable, and waterproof. There are seven high-quality folding aluminum poles in the package. Two flex aluminum poles will create a dome effect once you put the fly cover over the tent. This will aid in giving you more height protection for larger scopes, and during rain causing runoff water and keeping your equipment dry.

Four new, stronger Aluminum poles are used to erect the tent. For ventilation we put a half mesh door to allow for breathing. Not everyone can afford expensive observatories which can cost thousands of dollars.

The ClearView portable observing tent will allow you to protect your equipment while attending star parties, or if you choose to keep your equipment out for a period of time. The Observing tents when tied down correctly can withstand heavy winds and rain. Telescope set ups can be heavy weighing a few hundred pounds so we increased the strength and durability of the flooring.

We advise vibration pads for the pointy tripod legs to protect the flooring of the tent. The installation can be finished within 10 minutes by one person or within 5 minutes by 2 people. We recommend 2 people but 1 can easily erect this tent. It can serve 2-3 observers depending on the telescope setup. One to two people and telescope setup will be just fine in a 8' diameter flooring. So you can see there is enough room for equipment and observing. All entry openings zipper up for enclosure with one window mesh. These zippers have been upgraded and are very strong.
